Alba is the result of Marcela Abal initiative, who wanted to create a project based upon the reconsideration of native values transmitted from generation to generation in Uruguay. Using the hand-knitting techniques taught by their grandmothers in their childhood, Alba seeks to generate a product adaptable to women of modern times with a significant value and defined characteristics.
Alba tries to show the world the value of natural weaving and handcraft techniques, and values handcrafter women who have made each garment. We want to take the process to the consumer and involve them in it, and give the handcrafter women a thorough idea of their work results and reach.
