So yet another fabulous collaboration of H&M and this time it’s with one of our favourite and well known brand KENZO.
You might remember previous collaboration of H&M with Alexander Wang, which was totally amazing! It pretty much sold out within minutes of its release, with customers buying literally everything.

KENZO X H&M 2016 first it hit NYC a couple of weeks ago and it seemed the world went slightly crazy, the show featured crazy colours, animal prints and accessories that you’d have to work hard to pull off. Seemingly waiting forever for the brand to hit the UK and Europe, but when it did fashion changed in my eyes, things you’d never dare to put together were done and oh did they look amazing!
This collaboration was a little different to the others, colours you would never dream of combining were mixed and there’s no going back. Looks so different from everything… it has most definitely set the standard even higher for other designers.
I was invited to the pre-shopping event which was the day before the release, based in an art institute in the centre of Berlin. The event was full of German celebrities, fashion editors and bloggers, upon arriving there was a queue full of fashionistas waiting to get their hands on the collaboration before anyone else. Entering you were served champagne and away you go.

It was definitely survival of the fastest as people were grabbing everything and anything, some bought literally every piece and had bags and bags full. Prices ranged from 40 Euro up until 400 Euro so it gives everyone a chance to get a piece from the collection which is great.

The collection dropped on the 3rd November worldwide and was sold out in just a couple of hours, I didn’t expect anything else. The looks from this collaboration are so different yet so current as fashion should be whatever you want to put together and that’s exactly what KENZO have achieved.
Social media and the streets of Berlin were filled with pieces of this collar, Berlin was certainly more colourful than ever. The different coloured prints are perfect for festivals and the coats are a must have to keep warm this winter.
