New York, London, Milan and Paris have won the grand title of «fashion capitals», but today (and thanks to the internet) we can discover new fashion weeks and, therefore, new talents. In Australia, for example, is held once a year a fashion week, better known as Rosemunt Australian Fashion Week (RAFW), an event that not everyone knows.
Among established designers and new talents, appears in the grid shows the name of Magdalena Velevska. Of Macedonian origin, Velevska was raised in Sydney where she studied fashion design. She worked for major Australian brands as Paablo Nevada, Nicola Finetti, Akira Isogawa and Lisa Ho, but finally in 2009 she decided to launch his own firm: Magdalena Velevska.
Today is one of the most recognized designers in Australia and his show is one of the most anticipated during fashion week. It is also the most international designer and a few weeks ago first presented his collection in New York. That application was filed in the framework of «The Australian Five», a project organized by The Woolmark Company and the founding of New York fashion to carry the Big Apple to the five most talented Australian designers.
No wonder it was Velevska included within that group, because their talent is undeniable. He has been able to seamlessly integrate with other parts extremely feminine male, achieving androgynous looks that any woman would like to use.
