Wes Anderson has directed a holiday film for H&M and in FLUR we loved it! It’s been a while since his last feature came out and it’s said to be a little while longer before the next is released. But for now, thanks to H&M we have this fabulous short fashion film to get us through the holidays..
And that´s all the Wes Anderson we´ll have, for now… The Swedish fashion retailer has created the best holiday ad of 2016, named ‘Come Together‘ and directed by Wes just shows us what a kind hearted person he really is.
The short film features Wes Anderson’s frequent collaborator Adrien Brody as a conductor on a train which is on a journey through a very snowy christmas eve. When an unexpected delay happens which brings people together during the holiday season, and after all the bad happening in the world it shows that we should all come together, especially at this time of year.
That’s all we are telling you, we don’t want to spoil it for you…
It’s not what you’d usually expect from a H&M campaign but were not going to question it, we are just going to keep on watching it. The film was released on Monday and has been a HUGE hit being spread all over social media and with a whopping 6 million views on YouTube already. People really do love holiday season ad’s and expect something completely different each year as for M&S and John Lewis who the public expect to have the best.
Well H&M has shocked everyone with this…
Anderson and Brody’s last film they created together was ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and it took $175 million at the box office. So you can imagine the stakes were set high.
So if you are in need of getting into the holiday spirit or just want to watch a video of people coming together at a time when it’s needed, then this is a MUST WATCH for you.

Happy Holidays from all of us at FLUR
