Here at Flur Magazine we work with a lot of young talented writers from all over the world who are inspired by the great cities and the art, architecture, design and music that surrounds their lives.
One of our writers is also a stylist who likes to tell a story with each project he takes on. With this one he chose three models and some carefully chosen vintage clothing to take a journey through and go back in time. The result is some amazing shoots we are loving!
He tells us ‘I’ve always been intrigued by fashion back in the day, so this was all about reliving the past and being lost in a dream of vintage fashion. All the clothing I chose fit the idea and the look that I was going for.’
The models were dressed and styled as their parents or grandparents would and most likely worn on a daily basis many years ago.
The look he pursued was for it to seem like these amazing vintage clothes were swallowing up the innocent young faces of the models, so just sit back and look at the photos. The faces will tell you the story.
Being the winter season now it was the perfect timing for this project, with fur and high neck jumpers being a huge hit as this time of year. It shows people that all vintage clothing from any era can still be worn and with a lot more character at this day and age.
