The three up-and-coming designers that everyone is talking about are, Stephanie Ali, Jackson Wiederhöeft and Angela Luna. All recently graduating in fashion and design jumped straight into the fashion world.
Where others finish university after long 3 to 4 years of hard work and commitment usually grab a backpack and head off to travel before starting off their careers, this three are the opposite to the rule.
Here’s a little more information on these ever so talented graduates, what they’re bringing and what are their plans next. …

Jackson Wiederhöeft is a New York based women’s fashion designer. In the spring the graduate received the college’s ‘Women’s designer of the year’ award also shared with Angela Luna. Jackson had an interest for fashion from his young teen years, designing costumes for himself and putting a twist on them. Now the graduate is moving fast and has secured employment for designer Thom Browne, which is amazing. Jackson Wiederhöeft is definitely one to watch in the fashion world, but please slow down so we can catch up.

Graduate Stephanie Ali the 22 year old Long Island native who previously had plans to pursue a career in business is proving a hit in the fashion design industry. Thank god she gave fashion a chance we could of lost a good one there, sigh.
Also previously graduating in Spring this year Ali did have an eye for fashion from a very young age but a career didn’t appeal to her until later.
The designer likes to explore all fashion and even though some of the stuff that she designs wouldn’t fall in to the every day life doesn’t meant that it won’t.
Upon graduating Ali received the school’s ‘Critic Award’ in the Intimate Apparel category. It’s pretty safe to say that Stephanie Ali is ready to explore all types of fashion and let her mind take off a little which is what I love from newly designers, not to be afraid of fashion is the key.

Angela Luna a 22 year old based just outside of Boston is a women’s designer on a mission, having received ‘Womenswear designer of the year’ award along side pal Jackson Wiederhöeft. Luna is currently the talk of fashion designing with her latest creation pictured above, The burnt-sienna cape, wait for it though this beauty also turns in to a tent!? YES A TENT!!
The designer gets her inspiration from the ongoing Syrian refugee crisis, and with that the cape/tent will go in to production very soon with proceeds going towards refugees, HOORAY.
With her design on everyones mind and how she pulled it off, I am in love with it. It’s perfect for festivals, walks in the rain or even camping. I never thought i’d say that but yes, fashion is evolving and I am super excited to see what’s new from Angela Luna, definitely a favourite of mine.
Make sure to keep an eye out for these three, I sure will be!
